Pics of carnage from 410b

Well when i bought this thing it had a blown motor and i finally got around to pulling it down, here are a few pics of what i found. Thanks to John and his vast knowledge and parts it is soon to be back up and working again!

I got one about like that in a 300, but the hole in the block is one piston forward and it left a clean hole clear through.

I had one on a DC do something like that while I was driving it down the road when I was about 12 years old. Previous owner had failed to lock the bolt on the wrist pin. The bolt came out and the top end of the rod broke off and kept flying around on the crankshaft. It left the top 4" of the block and took a 6" strip out of both sides of the block and oil pan. The head was the only thing holding it up. 6" chunks of cast flew across the road, ditch, and 50' into the field. I pray that never happens on the tractor pull track.
