Save It or Scrap It

Been in a grove for 40 yrs. A wheel has some tree damage. Do not know if this is worth saving, I don't know of anyone collecting rakes. Rod.

Where are you located & how much do you want for it?

Drag it out of the trees, & if you want to sell it, post it on the YT Implements Forum. There are always people that want to buy the older equipment. If you don't want to sell it, keep it for "yard art".

Thanks for posting these pictures. My Dad and favorite uncle both had a Case rake like that one. Uncle Dave's was horse powered and Dad's was tractor powered. That gearbox alone is reason to save it. Don

It is missing the dip stick out of that gear box. I goes in that hole by the E. Barry.

I would save it. But most definitely save the gearbox! The CASE logo and eagle cast into it would be hard to find. I like the instructions, "One pint heavy gear compound", now you know that is old!

Save it for at least a garden ornament or better. I would say it is a F170 model or predecessor.
