Vac sitting out pics

I saw this vac sitting behind a garage. I stopped in. The guy said it was his dads & been parked for 2+yrs. he said they used it,worked fine before it was parked... He is going to ask his dad if he will sell it. My question, whats a ball park price? I m not sure if its locked up, thanks in advance. John

Minus the front wheels and with the exhaust open for the past 2 years I'd go about $250-300 on it. Turns over and runs $650

I talked to owners son(40's) he said his dad would sell it wants me to make a offer. Front rims need repaired. Sitting 2 plus years I tried to turn motor over by fan belt slipped. No battery,mower is sunk down in mud. Anything, else I need to check before I make a offer, what should be my starting offer? 1031D & Mike i would offer him your prices, Im sure he wont take first offer, son says dad loves to wheel and deal for the fun of it...thanks in advance

If you need or want that size of tractor, make the offer. VAC parts
are readily available, or it would worth most of it's price as
parts.Old tractors are a crap shoot, that's part of what makes them

looks like a decent find , try to get the whole shabang ,I have a set of front wheels , place tranny in neutral, engage the pto and then try turning the motor over .by turnin the mower power wheel . .if the owner thinks they have a hi dollar tractor , you can drainout some water out of the tranny drain plug ,and engine oil plug .. be sure drain some antifreeze from radiator neck on the blok ,,,
 
J.h.& Mike thats for the advice and information very valuable. The owner turned down $500 . I told him id offer more if engine turned over. Owner said to call him in a week he has to see what he paid for it. Thanks everyone for the help
