DC-830 hydraulic pump

Hello, can someone tell me if the dual valve hydraulic pump from an early 830 COM will fit and work properly on a late DC with eagle hitch? They look the same, but I want to be sure. Also, what other tractors use the same pump as the DC?
Thanks, John.

Are you having a problem locating a single valve hyd. pump for your DC? Don Livingston from 'Rusty Acres' in Minn. should be able to locate one for you. The 400-700.early730's and 830's used a dual valve pump. 1 for the eagle hitch, and the other for the quick disconnect hoses.Hope I got that right. Rotation of the pump is going to be a major concern for you. This is what I have been able to glean from the ARCHIVE Section on the forum.Chuck

They will interchange as far as bolt pattern and drive position, but the rotation is different. The drive threads on with right or left hand threads so they might thread right off if you have the wrong pump. Any chain drive tractor will interchange hydraulic pumps, and any gear drive Eagle hitch vintage will interchange. A 930 six speed hydraulic pump will fit in a DC, but you need to get creative because the pump is bigger and the drive needs modification. BTDT.

if you want another valve downstream from the pump, you can add one. They are available from many vendors just my two cents
