Boy Does 48 hours make a Big Different ...
hERES What I'm talking about ... SAt around 4:45 I wasn't felling the best , my left side felt like there was a 100 #'s hanging on my leg and arm ... I was in the shop and it took me awhile to get to the house ... then to the ER room ...then I had to stay in the hospital till tonite ...
YES I had a "baby stroke " , on different meds and now get my strength back , may miss 2 -4 weeks of work and I have 2 hours of vac. coming to me , guess I'll be living in the dog house for a while ...
Anyway that was my EAster ..... mark

Very sorry to here about your weekend event.
I went thru a series of 4 mini strokes a couple years back. The company I was working for had a generation change, and there was a lot of stress.
I was hopeing to get in another couple of years of employment, but as things developed, retirememt looked like the best option. Ended up being the best move I made.
I still have to keep a very close eye on my BP, kuzz it is very unstable, but I now have knowone to answer to but me, and if I feel a little off, I sit down and relax. Tomarrow will be another day; hopefully, HeHe. One day at a time now for me. If I can get vertical and take nurishment in the morning, the day is off to a good start! If I get horizontal on my own at the end of the day, I made it another day, and then on to tomarrow's morning cup of java. Enjoying this simple life philosiphy. No expectations- no disapointments.

Mark, glad you caught it early. Buy a bp machine, well worth the money.. I had a heart attack at 50 almost 9 yrs ago, opening a window. Thought it was indigestion. Heart Dr. put in a stent.... I was blessed with plenty of vacation.and sick days. It was a wake up call,..scared me. i worried for quite awhile, still do at times. listen to your dr.(that can be tough, diet & exercise).....Take care of yourself.... prayers, john
