I have a 480b gas backhoe with a 148 cid. eng. and I am in need of a starter , mine is past rebuilding . It is a Prestolite and a quick look on the web looks like about $300 . On ebay they show delcos listed for it at about $120 . Do these delcos really work on these old Case tractors , the nosecone looks right , they are listed to fit several tractors. I would rather spend $300 before I get into a shipping war for 150 if they dont work .
