Case 1290 Parts and issues

I have finishing up a complete overhaul on my 1290 case and ran into a few issues.

1. ON the bottom side of the thermostat housing, there is a hole that is not threaded. I believe the machine shop removed whatever was in the hole when they rebuilt the head, and I never received the part to put back in it. I has been a couple months and they are unsure of any such part. ANY HELP??
2. Throttle linkages, I am in need of clips for the linkages that clip over the ball head.

3. Right side front axle, looking for the right side front axle, I know I can get new, but thought I would check.

Any help would be great

Matt

1. A rubber donut fits between the head and the water pump. It just sits there in the groove in both parts and is compressed to seal as you tighten down the head. Probably a $5 part, comes in an upper gasket kit.

2. Those ball ends are available complete from Case, but are obscenely expensive. There are similar aftermarket ones, but the threads aren't the same(originals are whitworth). You can just crush the end on the ball with a pair of vise grips, and it will give you more life.

3. 2 wheel drive or 4x4? I should have a 2 wheel one, should be the same part as a 990, 995, 1290, 1390, 1294, 1394. 4x4 would be looking for hens teeth.

Yes, hole through it. I just happened to have one sitting on the workbench: .968"outside, .537"Inside, .437" tall
