looked at the 411 tonight. itdidnt have a pressure gauge for the converter.didnt get a chance to drive it. its barread in a barn.it would take a day to dig it out.the eagle hitch wont go down.it did drift about 3 inches while I was there.he was asking 1500. but came down to 1000. sould I buy or run the other way.presure gauge was missing.and the rest of the gaudges didn't work.

If the tractor will move in all gears and the torque converter will lock up when you pull the lever ..... buy it!

The engine has to be running to provide pump pressure to the hydraulic interlock in order for the hitch to be lowered. It is a safety feature. If the hitch drops w/o the pump pressure, the piston seals are leaking.

I wouldn"t buy it w/o driving and checking out the COM.

It appears that you read my previous reply and you hoped to look at a running tractor. Since the seller doesn't have it running or even at a point where it could be towed out in the day light, it is a scrapp value tractor. If you can buy it for $800-1000, buy it! If he is holding out tell him to get it running and operatable and then go from there.
