Two 504 Engines, But Very Different

These 504's in the two tractors do have a few things the same, but for the most part are very different. They are both 6 cyl and have 3 heads, but that is the only thing common here. The Minnie is a non turbo propane burner with a engine design that looks to be a couple decades older than the Case. However when running properly that 6 ft long engine purrs like a kitten. Rod.

MinnieMoVista must be drooling right now. That MM 504 only has 5 main brgs compared to 7 in the CASE. The Case drives the oil pump off the crank gear whereas the MM drives the oil pump off the cam gear.

Rod,

Minnie Mo's are almost as good as Case, in my book. Slow turning, big displacement engines don't need 24 speeds. Don
