Got to spend the afternoon with my friend Loren today and get a tour of the maple syrup operation. Was a good time as always when I get to visit. Took some pics, altho none from the woods. Even carried a pail or to to the tank. Thanks so much Loren for the time and the spread. Hope I get back again soon.

Jon,
Glad you could make it here. WE had both evaporators deliver batches at the same time again, about 2hrs. after you left and we got one more off the big evaporator, before we had to shut them down as we were running low on sap in the storage tanks. we filled the third barrel off, except for the half gal Kevin took. HeHe. Total production for the day was 59.5 gal. I got back here to the house just after 10:00. The wifey called and she had arived in Arazona with no nhickups, so I'll be batching it for the next two weeks.
