Hi, I have a case 1967 Case 430 and the clutch seems sluggish. The tractor only has a little more than 1000 hours on it and I believe it has a wet clutch (maybe not).

Does anyone have info on how to adjust the clutch on it?

Thanks in Advance,

Bill

The standard clutch in a 430 is a dry disk clutch. Don't suppose you have a torque converter drive tractor also known as Case-O-Matic?

no 430's had the COM drive, but if his has the hand clutch for the continuous PTO he does have a wet clutch, to adjust that you have to pull the range cover and adjust it like a pto clutch, I can post pics of the procedure, but I will be gone till tomorrow night
