Hello, What would a 1977 case 1570 with 5500 hrs. be worth. Owner said the engine was overhauled at the case dealer 400 hrs ago. Has new 20.8 radial tires with clamp on duals. The paint and cab interior are in good condition, But dont know if the A/C works. Thanks

The owner said the transmission has never been touched the tires are loaded. It is located in central michigan and was looking at possibly buying it.

4 yrs ago I paid $10,500 for my 77 1570, 1990hrs, original tires at about 85 percent, working air, factory axle duals and a 6 bottom case 400 semi mount plow, If someone offered me $15000 im not sure i would sell it. I love the 15 I use it for mowing quite a bit and running at 1300rpm it is just as good as my 400 and 830 on fuel, and much more comfortable, and turns short.

A few years ago a 1570 in the area sold at auction for around 7000. It had had some work done a few years back and look to have been rode hard and put up wet. Tires were 50%.

2 new rear tires is going to add value.

I would also ask why the engine was overhauled and I would ask if they rear end has ever been worked on.

What kind of money is the owner asking?

Location and paint will make a huge difference. Are you buying or selling

There is one in Indiana, I found doing a craigslist/search tempest search. That might be worth looking at if you can do the drive & haul.

Not my tractor, just posted to illustrate cost/value/condition.
