310 roundnose sheet metal

If I can post the pics I have a question. Every time I see a round-nose that is restored the sheet metal seems to be different in one way than mine. What I am referring to is the bottom of the rear part of the side panels. If you lok at the picture in the area of the control valves my side panels have a flat edge with holes for a bottom section (which I don't have) to bolt on to .Looking at the edge and the holes on both sides it looks with out a doubt (to e any way) to be factory. I figure Loren might have some feedback here. Thanks Mr Bill

Someone has cut the bottom off the side panel. Those hole are not factory, that angle molding is how you slid the side covers on.
