I spotted this plow today and I'm wondering what model it is, and approximate date of manufacture. Mike

It's an early "Green Axle" A series, like has been mentioned. If it is a 16" and has the newer EX wear parts on it they are still available. If it is a 14", or has the old CX "Blacksmith" shears and moldboards, they are no longer available so hopefully the shears and moldboards are good. You might still find some good used ones, but they are getting very hard to find. The A series are a little higher clearance, and certainly better made than the B, C, or G series. Still a very nice find. Good luck - Bob

Wow guys, thanks for all the replies! I've seen C series plows before, but not an A series like this. This is a heavy built plow, other than the tail wheel is off(the owner has it) it is in good shape. I think it will be coming home with me soon. Mike

Looks like an early A series to me with the green/orange paint scheme.

Early C series had that paint scheme also. Think it's a A because of the same beams as a centennial. C series had side plates for plow beams.

I agree and the hydraulic lift assembly is consistent with an A series. It's not the C series setup. In addition, the bracing beams on the left side are consistent with the design of an A series. The beams on the "C" series are formed from flat stock.

My vote is an early 50's A series.

Looks to be a Centennial model, with Hyd lift it will be 1949 or later they were made into the mid to late 50's

Case C Series plows appeared in the late 50's. Built after the Centennial line. I think that what it is...

My Case price books go from B/BH series plows dated March 1, 1956,to A/AH series plows dated 8/14/1956. Absolutely no mention of a C series plow.

I think you are correct on the A. Computer dumped and couldn't get back on quicker.
