Does anyone know if there is a difference between 504bdt & 504bd pistons. Found a good used set for my 2290 but don't want to put the wrong ones in. Any help is appreciated

504bdt would be for your 2290. The "t" is for turbo. The "bd" would be 2090 and 2094s as they are non turbo.

(quoted from post at 16:26:02 03/23/14) There are 2 different wrist pin sizes on the BDT, 1.625" and 1.8".

The 2290 should have the 1.625 pins unless someone has swapped a heavy crank engine in at some point. The piston for a 2090 would fit but may have a smaller bowl diameter as turboed engines usually have a bit less compression. Case pistons of that vintage have the Case P/N stamped in the top.
