Nippondenso starter motor

I have a Case 580 backhoe that came with a Nippondenso starter. Needed just the motor part of the starter for another tractor. Bad motor is beyond rebuilding. Would like to just buy a motor. Does anybody have a source?
Have also thought about an import starter. Backhoe is not used all that much

Just replaced the Nippondenso starter on my Dodge/Cummins with an import. Planning on refurbing the OEM unit to have as a spare. Did this same routine with my Bobcat a few years back and have been very happy with it. Imports are under $100 (for both my Bobcat and my Dodge) and the OEM Nippondenso replacement unit was going to be almost $400 and Napa wanted over $250 to refurb the Bobcat unit.

Seems the starter has been around close to a century so I'm pretty sure China can copy them adequately by now. They may have the luxury of using materials we aren't allowed to have here anymore too.

The starters I got in both cases worked better than expected and both rigs started way better with the higher cranking RPM of the new units. They are gear reduction units (normal for the Dodge, upgraded over the OEM Delco on the Bobcat's Kubota).

DB Electrical has treated me well both times. They sent me the wrong starter on the latest go-around and didn't give me a hassle exchanging it (they apologized profusely), even 3 time zones away.

Hope this helps.
