1st Case tractor

I recently discovered this photo in a shoebox from up in the attic. It is my Dad's 1st tractor, an RO, that he bought in 1946. He traded it in on a new D in 1954. This is the tractor that got us going with the Case brand.

My Sister was 6 when this picture was taken in 1952. No OSHA back then. LOL Don

Yes that is a GREAT pic for sure, what memories, that would sure be a nice one to have today I do not imagine too many "RO" have survived thanks for sharing

Wonderful photo Don, we take all the photos today for granted, but back then it was not that common. It was a special occasion. Rod

Thanks for the great picture! If I remember correctly there were only about 80 RO's built.
I visited last week with a 27 yr old co-worker who has acquired the first new tractors of his grandpa's on both sides of the family.(his moms dad and his dads dad). Both tractors are in good condition. One is a 620 Deere and the other is a 861 Ford.

Bill,

I never saw this tractor, it was gone before I was born. Your VAO is the 1st tractor I ever drove. Don
