I need some information on a couple of case tractors. I have a 3594 with a trace of antifreeze in the oil. We have been sampling the oil regularly and it has just shown up in the last 2 samples. It has 12,000 hours on it. Was overhauled when I bought it at 5,000 due to too much either on a cold morning. What do you guys suggest I look at first? This tractor gets used almost every day in the winter for running a bale processor and for making hay in the summer.
Secondly, I have a 1971? 1070 with over 10,000 hours on it that has never been touched. I pulled the engine oil plug to do the normal winter service on it and about a pint of antifreeze came out. What do you suggest here? This tractor runs a hay rake and a 10 inch auger so not alot of hours.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I have lots of case tractors but have never had to over haul a motor on one of them. I am hoping it is something as simple as an oil cooler, etc. Thanks!
