Dc adjustable wide front

Hi all. I have a dc i am installing an adjustable wide front on and the long steering arm on the tractor is the curved one, so the pitman arm for lack of a better term on the front is the short one. The adjustable wide front has a long pitman arm. They are not interchangeable because the center shaft diameter is entirely different. Has anybody run into this, and what can i do to remedy this. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Jason,

We cut about 3 inches out of that arm and rewelded it together. It looks really good and works good too. Don

That was one option i considered, or cutting off the end with the hole on both arms and swapping them. What did you weld it with?

I've got a DC that someone heated the front arm red hot and bent it up and heated it again and 3" up bent it out. Looks like a Z but didn't need to weld. Curved the turkey roost also. Had a 425 picker on it.
