Spring Time Blues !

Was in town today paying a bill, heading out of the store when I slipped and fell in street. Stuck my hands out to break my fall, hurting my left shoulder. MRI showed I tore the tendon off the bone. Have to have surgery next Monday, and Doc says no moving it for 6 weeks. Gonna be middle of May before he'll let me go back to work. Guess I'll have plenty of time to work on the VAC, one handed that is. LOL. Wife says there's one thing she won't help me with during recovery. Didn't ask what that meant, pretty much got the message the first time.

Hope all goes well. I know what your going thru. A few years ago I fell off a roof and dislocated my shoulder. Several weeks for rehab. No surgery on my part . I did tear down a steel building at that time , also with one arm. It was quite a job , it was a 28x40 structure. Good luck.

Sorry to hear of your accident, hope the surgery goes well for you.
When I was a senior in high school our basketball coach fell off a balcony and broke both wrists. His wife then immediately divorced him. Apparently there were things she wouldn't do either LOL Don

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. Hope surgery goes well.
We might have a job for a one-armed syrup bottler, here if it ever gets back above freezing. HeHe

Just do what the doc tells you to. I broke my collar bone, and 7 ribs on August 26. They told me to do what pain would allow. On January 19th, they put a plate and 10 screws in the collar bone.
After 6 months I am finally able to do most things. My shoulder is kinda stiff, and gets sore, but I am making progress.

Mike , I pray all goes well for you. As I recover from prostate surgery the wife watches me like a hawk so I do not do something like lifting more than a milk jug. Get well soon and maybe we can get together.

Thanks guys for the support. Am sure things will go good, recovery will depend on how good I am at listening. Will post later how things are going!

Send me your E-mail n phone number, I'll call later on and see if we can meet. Would be nice to see if jon will be on the pike, we could meet him at a plaza and talk to him also. Thanks for the support.

We pay a couple of Amish lads, $10.oo/hr., to collect sap, but since you only have use of one arm, I guess your wage would have to be $5.oo., and we would have to find someone else to screw the cap on. HeHe
