Found this pic in looking through some images. I'm sure its a sales pic, maybe someone has a sharper one. Thought it is interesting as I have never seen that combo in use. Looks like some easy plowing soil. Rod.

That's an easy one.!! They took a pic of Tom plowing his garden. You know that Wyoming soil is the best around. LOL

Remember when we were kids, almost all tractors had narrow front. Nothing to gauge with to know how far to not overlap the last round. That tractor is the same way, no marker or guide. Much easier to gauge distance with a wide front. Dad bought a DC 4 and I loved to plow with it because the front wheel was in the furrow, no need to guess. Discing or digging with the narrow front DC, usually guided by lining up the last round with the edge of the headlite.

great looking tractor,
when I was a kid, the biggest tractors around were cases, 730, 930 with narrow fronts. always thought they looked good.

if you want to turn short the narrow front is the thing to have.

however, with a loader they might be less stable.

if I had to drive that tractor, I would need a rod attached across the front with a chain hanging down into the furrow, so I would have something to guide on, but I am not the best tractor driver.

again, great looking tractor,
case always made a fine looking tractor.

wish I had one.
