990 implements

Hello again.

When and if this 990 makes smoke again what size of implements are best for it? Is an 8 foot blade too big? I know it would wrap my 6 foot king cutter into a pretzel. 6 foot bush hog? Bigger? Normal cutting.

3 bottom plow?

A DB990? You'll have about 55hp. It might pull an 8 foot blade fine, I've never even seen one that big so I don't know. I know it's way too much for my 5 foot AC bush hog, makes the clutch slip in tough going. It's a 2-14, 2-16 rig on my heavy clay. I know in other places they pull 3-16's with them, but not on clay. It'll run a small square baler all day and pull a wagon with 100-120 bales no problem. I run a 5x6 round baler with mine too. A 9-10 foot haybine should be a snapper.

Just don't try to make it into a 75-80 hp tractor and you'll be fine. Good tractor.
