NC or Bust!

I helped my daughter move to from SD to NC. Thought I'd post a few pics of some things I saw along the way. I'll start with the morning we left and a picture of the moon setting in the West. Don't remember seeing a moonset so bright!

We went to Jacksonville and the Military Bases there. Saw very few tractors in the State. Mostly 8Ns and farmall cubs. Biggest tractor I saw was the state highway mowing tractor. In fact, it was the only tractor I saw with a cab.
Granted, you don't see much from the Interstate anyway.

Our first stop was in-state. The Sioux Falls Toy Show. Picked up a JIC TMCo Hard Oil can, and a few other collectibles.
Saw this sweet 730 with cultivators. Couldn't take it with me as it wouldn't last the flight home, but was neat to see some Case scratch built models including a few combines. An A-6, 600 and a 960 among other things such as a Case silage chopper etc. So busy looking I forgot to take pictures.

I am located just east of Greensboro. You are getting here a little late. We had 70 degree temps over the weekend. Suppose to be highs in the low 40s the rest of the week. Course that probably sounds pretty good to most right now. Lee

I just bought the narrow front 730 recently, but didn't know there was a cultivator for it. Bought a nib 1170 Golden Demo with duals made in 96 for Toy Tractor last weekend while looking for Sunbeam Mixmasters!?!.

No sir! They wouldn't have me and for good reason.
I don't think I would have the physical aptitude anymore for that line of work! But my new son-in-law fits the bill. Stay tuned. More on that later!

My last purchase was the 1570 Precision. Got it home and half the lights didn't work! Oh well, I do most of my sandbox farming during the day anyhow. Ha
