So the range and power shift levers are extremely sloppy...went to a salvage yard today and they had a few 2290"s and their gear shifr levers were nice and tight. Are there bushings in them that wear out? Anything else i should be looking for when I take the control panel off this weekend?

to take up the slop there are small rubber coated washers that need replaced here is a NOS dash panel for the "90" series
