New Project: Different Color

Hey all!

Just checking in. Thought I would show you the new project I have in my garage. After spending the last 6 years doing motorcycle projects, I figured I should do something that I started with. Tractors it is. Talked to the (soon to be fiancee), and located a tractor for HER to use in parades at the local show. Picked up a '41 John Deere A Slant Dash. Brakes work, transmission shifts, and the motor is locked from sitting. Reportedly was parked because it needed a connecting rod. Got it in the garage today, so I figured I would show you my (lack of) workspace, as well as some pictures of the tractor(s) together. Gramp's '41 Case SC is still sitting pretty, and I ran it around a little today to get the JD into the garage. Enjoy, and I hope you are all doing well!

(And if you are wondering, I am STILL in school. Ha ha ha).

Looks like it should be a good after school project. I am a little puzzled though. You could have showed her you love her even more if you would have acquired a CASE for her to drive it parades. Right! LOL, Rod.

I am working on building a "one of every color" collection. I'd still like to get (another) Farmall M, a Minneapolis Moline (The guy I bought the JD from has a MM RTU that I have my eye on), and an Unstyled Allis WC, an old Oliver 18-27 Row Crop. Not really much for the Fords... But maybe they will grow on me someday. I guess I had better get more room!

Oh, and, He does have a nice VAC that I am trying to talk a friend of mine into for his new property.. Runs like a top, brand new tires all the way around, and I believe he wants $1100 for it.

Hey great one to do together, as I think from what I remember you kinda of a team doing these. Hope it goes well and you can show us when you get done, or along the way, nice to see that sweet little honey "SC" all tucked in too. Nice looking A
And yes stay in school! HeHe
Enjoy your restore Ken and thanks for checking in
Dan
