Case 580 C Starts but then stalls

I started my Case today and ran it for a while. It then proceded to stall. I would restart it but it would run at an weak idle then stall. it would then restart again. I changed the diesel fuel filters but it didnt help. I was thinkng there may be ice in the line. I am in NJ. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Get somme 911 and or seafoam and use sparingly , it is alcohol,so a little dab a do ya ,. assuming it is below freezing in nj ,, and also assuming ,you DO know how to bleed the filters? and air from typical diesel motors ,, and you can loosen a few lines at the injectors and crank the air thru ,, ,, let us know how it goes

If filters are OK, and flow to injection pump inlet is good the pump may need repair. Test by loostening the two timing cover screws so fuel can leak out. If it runs better without dieing then the injection pump needs serviced soon before much more expensive damage occurs. Just repaired an AC 185 pump for the same trouble.
