58'800 is this where com filter goes? Napa sold me a 1235 filter. Looks to big to fit there. Thanks, Carl.

Be ready though. The cast cover has a spring on it to hold the filter that is compressed. It can stick and when you have the 4th bolt out you look away not knowing and it can pop off and land on the concrete. I am sure a few have broke an ear off with this happening. Better yet do it on the rock drive as you will loose some fluid in any "Case".

the filter is made to be cleaned in diesel, etc. If I recall the dirt gathers on the inside, not outside so note the inside more. If it is not broke, clean it and re- use. As an FYI, on my 611-B there are 2 of these filters. 1 for the COM, 1 for the other hydraulics. It is in the front behind the grill, in front of radiator. Same type cover.

I just looked in my manual. The front filter for 500/ 600 series is for the COM (Case O Matic). The one back there is for the hyd. system. Thus, if yours is not COM you wont find another filter.

Yes, that is where it goes. The CASE Filter measures 3" Long, 3"OD, 2-5/8"ID. If I looked it up correctly, the NAPA filter is 7.5" Long, 6"OD. Won't work.

Thanks guys for the help. Have not measured Napa filter, but I think John is correct. I will take it out and check condition and style. Maybe clean it. Carl.
