cnh has another trans. oil for the current puma and maxxum tractors called nexplor. cnh is working on an all new hy-tran oil that will work in all new CASEih tractors. my parts man was told that the new hy-tran when it comes out, won't work in any CASE tractors. anyone else hear about this? tom, you may have to stock up on the current hy-tran !

The new hy-tran is already out but I hadn't heard anything about it not being compatible to use in the Cases. Maybe Bermuda Ken can shed more light on this.

All the major tractor companies have designed engines to meet the hurdels of new emossion standards, at the price of raw HP. Todays "modern "PStrannies" deliver only about 75% of engine HP to the wheels, BUT, there are now, an all new genertaion of trannies in development, from the major tractor manufacturers world wide, which will deliver far greater percentages of engine
hp to the tires, and transmissiom fluids are a key link in this new technology.

If the new Hytran is formulated to not work in the old case tractors such as the 70 and 90 series tractors that would be dirty pool.

Can someone with some inside info verify this new information?

If it is true then we need to find a substitute fast!

I have went through one oil problem on my 1370 and I don’t want to have another

I will check with my dealer on this but I can not see the advantage to it as they continue to make at least the Hy-Tran I use to be more compatible with other oils as the original oil was not recommended to be mixed with various oils will post back

In this cold north country we dumped out the nexplore oil and put in regular hytran oil. Or put in the synthetic. Especially with the new cvt tractors. The nexplore was to stiff at anything below -15 C to do much good to the hydraulic pump.
