Ok, I know that there are a bunch of you guys that had Case dealerships. What I want to know, is why is Hy-trans better for a Case tractor then any other? I know Case never refined, nor packaged its own oil.
Way back when, we ran JD HyGuard in all the sprayers. The first Rogator didn't like it, and I went to Mobil. Basically the same product, but it was sure easier on wheel motors.
That being said, where I now live.... its 45 miles to the nearest tractor dealer of any kind, and they are blue. Another 40 miles and I can get to a Case IH, old dealer. Going west its 100 miles to a Red dealer.
I have been running either Dextron, or generic Hy-trans in both of my COM's. The old DC really doesn't care what it gets as long as its oil.
