just got back from NE picking up a "WWC" 33' CASE chisel plow, it was all these three CIH tractors wanted to pick up this thing is HEAVY!! we had to pull out almost 80 3/4" bolts to remove the tongue and rear rotary harrows that go it down to 11' wide a little over 600 mile round trip we left at 4:00am and was back at 3:00pm but did stop at Lusk Wy and had lunch on the way back, the last pic shows the 1' of dirty ice on it from the snow/slop we drove thru the last 125 miles

600 miles with a load like that is some kinda accomplishment. You get most of the good stuff. lol

Nice looking unit Tom, I'm sitting here wondering who actually made the WWC,I know the G119's offset disc's were made by Amco, so wondered who made this chisel, as Case was farming out equipment by then
I bet you were one tired out Wyominger, when you got home!
Nice unit for the back of one "flagships"

This past week I picked up a model 5600 Case chisel. Put shovels on it and put it to work! The WWC and the 5600 were about the last of the chisels made by Case. Mine is only 16', but would like to make it 20'. The shanks are unique to Case chisels so if you have 4 extra let me know. Shanks are different than the chisel planter or earlier models. Mine has the track logo on it ,so must have been made in the last years. Both the WWC and 5600 are shown in the 73 buyer's guide.

Are you saying Case was still making these? Where were they made? Racine? As I had thought these were already outsourced by then, as Case got ready to be "The Tractor Specialist"s"

Tom do you have enough 580's to unload the chisel? Have always wondered if farmers need to buy a wide load permit when hauling items such as that. Can't wait to see the 14 and the chisel in action. Rod.

Rod, we are going to use the 580CK and 580E and I am thinking of calling a neighbor with a zoom boom to help as well as I think a wing may be a little much for the "DC" and Duncan as for the permits I can get by if I am under 11'8" without one but if they knew how far away I loaded it they would have made me get one anyway as over 150 miles from my home I am considered commercial, outside of Lusk Wyoming we did have a Highway Patrolman follow us a few miles but he did not bother us

Dan I agree they had at the time discontinued implement production, but I will say I think Steve is right as this unit has CASE made hyd cylinders on it so my thinking is that this is a actual CASE made unit, this one has Desert Sunset wheels so I have to think it is at the latest a 1973 model and I know we had gotten "WC" units in 1972 that still had the pre "70" series logs on them so maybe they were using up left over stock so I would think 73 would not be a reach to have this newer style unit in that time frame makes me think pretty hard to go back that far LOL

Mat, that does look to be a nice enough 900, I just have run out of $$ for units that I would not use for this year anyway although I would not mind at all having it thank you for the forward

That's a very nice item!! Is it the biggest chisel Case made?
Can't wait to see it in action!!
Thanks for the pics.

Eric and Nick, I believe you could add extensions to this one and go bigger as to pulling it the 1470 should do fine for what I am going to use it for, summer fallow and spring seed bed prep, now if I was going to use it as a chisel alone yes the 2670 would be the horse for the job, the first one of these we sold was with the first 2670 we sold in the early spring of 74
