This past week I picked up a model 5600 Case chisel. Put shovels on it and put it to work! The WWC and the 5600 were about the last of the chisels made by Case. Mine is only 16', but would like to make it 20'. The shanks are unique to Case chisels so if you have 4 extra let me know. Shanks are different than the chisel planter or earlier models. Mine has the track logo on it ,so must have been made in the last years. Both the WWC and 5600 are shown in the 73 buyer's guide.

Are you saying Case was still making these? Where were they made? Racine? As I had thought these were already outsourced by then, as Case got ready to be "The Tractor Specialist"s"

Dan I agree they had at the time discontinued implement production, but I will say I think Steve is right as this unit has CASE made hyd cylinders on it so my thinking is that this is a actual CASE made unit, this one has Desert Sunset wheels so I have to think it is at the latest a 1973 model and I know we had gotten "WC" units in 1972 that still had the pre "70" series logs on them so maybe they were using up left over stock so I would think 73 would not be a reach to have this newer style unit in that time frame makes me think pretty hard to go back that far LOL
