What would an 1130 look like?

I am wondering what Case engineers would have done to the 451 in a 1030 to make an extra 12-15 horsepower to make an "1130". Certainly should be possible with that many cubic inches. Would the driveline reliably handle the extra power? Any ideas and opinions? Don

M+W did that. The 1030 and other models of that vuitage did not have cross flow heads, and heat buildup when under load was a real problem!!BTDT.
I would have liked to have sean a 930/1030 with a COM tranny though.

They Should Have Made It a Standard Option for 4X4 Package[MFD Drive]730-830-930-1030 Tractors then they would have Ben up with IH & Oliver! Then to Bulid the 70 Series Tractors With out it was just Dumb!!! As for an 1130 if made Would have been Great as long as they put in a 504 cid engine [not 70 series style.Sure would have been a lot closer to the 5010 JD's

maybe a 1200 two wheel drive with smaller front wheels, heavy duty front axle. lol bet that would look strange.

we have a 451 direct injection tied to a com from an 830 comfortking. We pull it at 8500lbs and have had no problems with the com.

Hoofer B,
Your mention of the MF1130 made me smile, I wasn't thinking along those lines at all.

Was the 1030 geared higher than a 930 to handle the extra horse power? Or was that just the difference in tire size between 18.4-38 tires on a 1030 and 18.4-34 tires on a 930?

Most 1030's around here had 18.4-34's. I ran an 1100MF for a while and then an 1130. 1130 was a lot more tractor than that 1100, but my 1030 outperforms both when it comes to down time. 1100 was always broke and 1130 had constant problems with the hydraulics sticking.

Sounds like a bad idea like the 1170 & 1175 Tractors =Junk like there 2 inch longer shift levers on the 970-1070-1170 tractors over there 770-870 tractor that shift like a charm !

Hi Don,
Yea, I wonder.... but, first they would have needed a larger transmission as what was in the "1030" was also in the "830" and "930" and in our area, the "1030" transmission was to small for her.

You don't understand why the "1175" was built, it was built for a easy way you farmers to get into that power. "1175" meant $11,750.00, yes a economy tractor, no cab, and no options for that price. Guess you had to be there
