I was called yesterday to winterize some old tractors for a lady that her father had recently passed away. She knows nothing about tractors but just wanted to make sure they would be Ok until spring. In the collection was one Case. Sorry I didn't take my camera, but I found one online like it. The one I found is in much better condition. Good Tires and good paint. She said she thought it was a D ,but the grill is not right for any D I have seen. Thanks, All help is appreciated.

The "S" series has the battery under the gas tank, the "D" series has the battery mount up on the steering "column" up in the open. Also the serial # tag ,if its still there, is mounted on the instrument dash and should show the model number on it.

Thanks for the replys. Tractor was in a garage surrounded by other tractors and parts and I couldn't get to it very well to try and find a serial number. I think she is going have an auction in the spring. She has some odd tractors for my neck of the woods. She really didn't want to price anything now and I didn't press the issue. Her dad had been collecting for many years.
