? on repairing Zenith carb on LA Case

I am attempting to put a repair kit into a 1949 LA with Zenith carb.

I imported a kit from the US and it has basic instructions only.

I want to replace the throttle shaft (included in the kit) as the shaft and bushes are worn. I have not been able to pull the pin (CT63-2 in the parts book). Any hints?

I will also need to remove the throttle control from the other end of the shaft. In the parts book, it seems integral with the shaft (C29-8). Again, any help appreciated.

Thanks

Bob

I don't know your specific carb , but most of those pins are roll pins , you should be able to remove it by rocking it with diagonal cutters like a cotter pin .Good luck !
