Hey there.

I ran across this ad and am thinking about going ot have a look. WHat are some things to look for becided the obvious... Tires, rims, running condition.

And what may be a good asking price if it does indeed run?

Thank you in advance!
Poke here for ad.

It looks pretty good. I guess it is too old to have hydraulics. I see it has the hand lift levers, wonder if there are any implements? I wouldn't go over $800.

It definitely has hydraulics, but they are not live and work off of the belt pulley shaft. The levers are for adjusting the working height of some mounted implement which is not shown in the pictures.

That tractor does indeed have hydraulics. The levers are to level and set depth for a proprietary mounted plow. The hydraulic system raises and lowers a variety of mounted implements designed for this tractor series. The serial number plate is still present, so the year of manufacture should be easy to determine. I would guess it to be a '47-'49, just before the eagle hitch came out. As to value, if it runs and has decent rubber, $700-$800. If any of the mounted implements are there, they are likely to be worth as much as the tractor.
