The 2013 growing season oficially ended this morning.

Well, woke up to clear skies and 19F this morning. First killing frost of the season.
The uncles are at the corn in earnest as of yesterday.
The wife and I are all set for the winter. Pantry is full and woodshed is full.
Like in the CaseIH comercial, "I'm Ready" lol.

PS, I thought the little arrow shaped cloud left of the sun was neet. Looks like it shot out of the sun. Maybe the sun was cold and it backfired. HeHe

2-1/2 hours West of you, we got our 1st freeze also. Late this year.

Loren your right,we had .9 Tuesday morning,so it's going to come soon, although suppose to be up in the 40s this weekend,which is good,need to get the "400" and "1030" put to bed.
Just thinking of that warm fire Loren, and all that good stuff in the pantry! But really glad the syrup is coming,doggone Tom was talking to me yesterday and enjoying some of the good maple syrup in his pork and beans,got me drooling
