CNH,

I have never been an S series collector but have found several in the last year or so. They are nice size tractor and kind of grow on you after a while. There are certainly a lot of collectable models in the S series such as the foot clutch SC's, Steel wheel equipment ,center exhaust S, SI and SC models and the seldom seen smooth block center exhaust, SC-4, Late SI with powerloader S , SC and Si models with eagle hitch to name a few.
Here's a pic of my SC and S tractors with eagle hitch. They are 2 of my favorite tractors.

The S is a favorite of the boys to. Here's the oldest.

I really agree with you, they are a nice little tractor to have around, personally I only have "SC3"s right now, but a friend of mine bought one at a sale last June, It wasn't running and paid over 1000, it was "kinda stuck" since then he has it ruuning good.
Great line up,hope you can keep posting pics and glad your here.
Dan

Thank you for all the positive comments!!
I guess the S is the favorite because it was the first tractor driven on the farm. Also love the way these tractors sound-not to loud and not too soft, and the smoothest clutch in the business!
No center exhausts here, unfortunately. Would love to have one! The one on full steel is a early 1941 with deep fenders and round wishbone. It also has no starter or generator. I will gladly answer any questions if anyone has any, but please note, none are for sale. still adding to the collection! lol.

I'll take the one with steel wheels. Great for mowing around the honey locust trees, no flat tires to worry about.

Don, have you ever found another "S" with center exhaust? I remember you having one.

Very impressive lineup of S-series. Is that what you concentrate on? Is there a specific reason you collect S series? Don
