need stock rocker arm ratio for 504.

Could anyone tell me the stock rocker arm ratio for a 504 case engine? I think it is 1.5, need to make sure. Thanks engine is from a 2290.

I have a 930 with a 504 out of a 1370 with 2290 heads for the better injectors anyway yes they are 1.5 ratio and you can buy 1.6 roller rockers from a place called Murphy's for 700.00

I believe John that it has to do with how far you sit back in a rocking chair , and then the number of times you rock it before your cat"s tail gets caught in it! My 2 cents worth.

John,

a 1.5:1 ratio refers to how much the valve moves for the amount the lifter moves. Lifter moves up say half an inch and the valve moves 1.5 times that, for example. At least that's how I remember it.

I thought the rocker ratio was 1.42 in and 1.43 ex that whatn I alwas have been told
