Case 480CK IPTO

Hi, I purchased a Case 480 CK, 1970 year, with a 3 pt. and IPTO. I cannot get the IPTO to shut off and it turns at all times. The lever seems to move correctly forward and back as if it should turn on and off, but it continues to spin. Any help on what to look for would be appreciated.

you could try backing off the adjustment a bit, but,it likely has warped clutch plates in it. You will have to take it apart to check them.

Hi, I use a pipe wrench and turned the PTO with the engine and PTO off and broke it free, very easily. It must have been stuck from years of non-use. The former owner said he never used the PTO. Works fine now. Thanks.
