Had the camera in the combine today so I snapped a few shots as the day went by. I am about half done, yields are good and moisture around 20%. Rod.

Nice pictures of your farm. What state are you in? Does corn at 20% moisture need to be dried further for storage? Steve

We live in SW MN. Yes corn needs to be dried to 13 to 15% depending on temperature and how long it needs to be stored.

Nice crop and machinery, that looks like some real productive farm land. That tri load behind the 1370 must be close to 60,000lbs, it must pull as good as it looks.

Those are some great shots! The second one has good contrast, save it for the calendar. The one of the sunset is nice too.
I believe this is the first time I have seen any farm pictures from Mn. (If so I didn't know where they were). Some impressive fields. There are no fields that large where I live.

Can't be a shortage of LP,our government said that there is an overabundance of it,and our government would not tell us an untruth

Rod, nice to see some corn coming off. Here we are chopping corn silage now. A lot of the beans froze with leaves still on, and it will be a while for the rest of the corn. Good thing ours goes in the silo for high moisture. I suppose the 1470 is getting put to work soon on the chisel plow!

I just bought a model 60 15 foot. Been using it on my G950 MM. I dont have my cab back on yet. Nice looking Case you have on yours. Wouldnt mind one myself.

Rod,
As always great pics.
Here the combine is switched over for corn, but the corn isn't ready for the combine. It is currently snowing here, and ground is starting to turn white.

Do you live anyware near Dawson MN? Dad and I bought my 78 IH truck there in June of 1978. Used it every harvest since than and only have 20,000 plus miles on it now.

Sure like the pictures Rod,you started the day with Case, and finished.Soon the "1470" will be called in

Had our 1460 out the last couple of days combining corn.Moisture has been 15 to 18.2.We haul with our 1370 too. With our hills about 570 bushel is enough, to pull and keep ahead of going downhills. Some of the coops have started to dump corn on the ground.Hope harvest goes well for you and be safe.Nice to see the 70series hard at work.
