I need someone that is familar with Bosch inline. I have fuel to top but no delivery. Rack is tight in furthest right position. If I take off tops and springs and loosen the four side screws it will losen up a bit.I have fuel in three of four tops. Any assistance would be appreciated. It is on MM 4 cylinder.

Do not force the rack, most likely stuck because one or more plungers are stuck. With the side cover off see if all plungers go up and down with cam while turning engine over. Any that don't go down need freed up as rack must move freely. You may get it to work with fresh fuel if it is not rusty from water in fuel.

I can move rack back and forth but not freely as I suspect it should be. I removed top of governor and can move rack with two screwdrivers.I have put in conditioer in tank. I sprayed penetrating oil into prunger gears but still tight. Can i pull out plungers to check?

When working correctly the rack will move freely with little to no resistance, 2 screwdrivers is much too stiff. Just one sticking plunger can cause it, that's why it may take time to free them up. If fuel gallery has rust inside pump should be torn completely down for cleaning. German Robert Bosch pumps still have parts available, American Bosch may not be so easy to find plungers for if needed, or gear segments and rack too if teeth are damaged. I would still try to free them up while still in place if at all possible.

Noticed no rust. I worked rack back and forth for 100 times or so. Couldn't do it by hand. Once I put in side screws and tops with springs back on it tightened right up. Plungers seem to move freely but may not be rotating.
