Combine Production Numbers

Just out of curiosity, are there any production numbers for Case 60 series combines? A sales book from our family dealership shows that from 1959-1972 they sold five 800 combines, seventeen 600's, eighteen 660's, three 960's, one 1060, one 1160, two 1660's, and one 1665 combine. The dealership was in NW Ohio. I know that the 600/660 combines were the most popular combines Case made (also clear from the sales number!), but was just curious about how many of the other models were made during roughly the same time period.

the numbers I have are
600/660 27,939 total built
700/900/960 is not listed
1000/1010/1060/1160 total is 10,711
1660 total is 1334
1665 total 252

Thanks Case Nutty! I have only seen two A-6's, a 600, a 660, and a 960 combine in person before. I did not know the 1665 production number was so low.

I do not have "A-6" production (by the way I have two A-6 with consecutive serials) but I would guess it was at least what the "600" series machines were, if you are by me some time stop in and climb in/inspect the ones I have here sounds like I have a few you have not seen LOL

That would be quite the adventure, would love to do it some day! I know you have at least one 660 and one 960, if you don't mind me asking do you have any 600's or other 960's? My family has a 1967 960 and are currently using it to combine corn with. We will be sure to post pictures of it in action soon.

I have two 960's that I run and one parts 960 my 600 I just traded for will be here in the spring, I have a pretty nice 700 that has a locked up engine I may fix someday as well as the 700 I ran as a kid that is only parts now, I am on the hunt for a 900, I do have a 800 bought but have not got it home , the pic above is the 600 I bought with my good friend Randall at the controls at his farm in MI

How sure are you on the 1665 production numbers cause dad has his still in the shed with the 15 foot platform and 4 row 30 inch corn head he even has all the dealer paper work when he bought the combine in 1972. Would really like to come up with a 6 row 30 inch corn head for it for him. The old girl was what dad custom combined with and has seen a lot of acres but is in amazing shape ok j.I. himself would be proud of that machine.

the data I have comes from one of the top men in the CASE design team so I will say it is right, they only made the 1665 a very short time production started in 69 and ended in 1970 no combines were made after 1970 they had new inventory left in stock until at least 72 as we had a man looking for a 1660 in 1972 we found a handful but they were at least 300 miles away so we dropped that idea, I can still remember the day we were told that Case was dropping everything to become the "Tractor Specialist's" that was in Jan 1970 they had a "fire sale" for all items that were discontinued that included combines
