267 crankshaft

I am looking for a crankshaft to fit in a 267, etc; or even a 336.
It doesn"t have to be perfect, just a good core. Planning on
putting some stroke on. anyone have any leads? I have tried
acouple of high profile Case salvage guys and only one has
said that they may have somethig. Otherwise, they are kind of
elusive.

I am unsure. What would be the block #s. What would be the difference? Wasn't aware of a difference.

Thanks for the help.

Carl the blocks we talked about have to have the big journal 336 crank a 267 wont work. The 336 also came in small journal version. I dont have any of the small journal blocks. But the cranks from several engines use the small journal cranks that would work for you. But the larger journal will be stronger. Thad

That clears that up then. Thanks Thad. I spoke w/ my friend in the area and he is going to check his inventory and may be calling you w/a shopping list. Thank you everyone who is trying to help. So I am looking for Big Journal 336. Anyone have leads on one? Have one located out west. Would be interested in a spare if anyone has leads.

Is the crank from a 870 gas similar to the diesels? I have never had a pan off a gas 7 or 870, Rod.

The 7 and 8 gas are the same crank both small journal. The only things i have ever had with the large have been 870 diesels and some stationary engines. I was told some industrial stuff used it also. I haven't seen one in the industrial stuff yet just small ones. thad
