CONVERTING 830 to 3pt. HITCH!

I have an early 830 diesel that originally had an eagle hitch setup. The lift arms are missing and so is the toplink hookup. It just has a 2way cylinder to lift it up and down,so no draft control whatsoever on an eagle hitch?? I have some heavy 3 point arms that i would like to put on but i need to cut out the original eagle hitch brackets that bolt to the side of the drawbar,so the arms have a little clearance in there.its looking like the eagle hitch vs comfort king 3point are completly different and will not interchange at all? anyone ever done anything like this before? the no draft control seems like such a pissy setup to me.

I had a couple 830 years ago that had a conversion on them. Changed the arms and lift links so it would swing and go standard cat 2. Still had to use the toplink mount in the location that nearly interferes with the pto.
As far as draft control it doesnt have one but it does have a float position.
Trickiest part of rigging up something is to build the top end of the lift links where they attach to rockshaft arms so they will sway so the lower lift arms will swing

The geometry of the eagle hitch makes draft control unnecessary. It actually works very well, but you need to know the basics of how to set a plow. Also, both the top link connection position on the tractor, and the top link connection position on the plow are important to get it to work well. That is, a standard three-point plow will not work as well with eagle hitch as an eagle hitch plow. But, it isn't too difficult to alter a 3-point plow so that it does work well with eagle hitch.
