Connecting rod/Piston questions

I am working on a 370 ci combination from a 336 block. All I have is a block currently, so as I am hunting pistons and connecting rods, I am looking for information on the connecting rod lengths, from the 336 and 504. Would I be able to put 504 piston connecting rod into the 336 block? I remember from past projects that the beg end rod diameter is different but I couldn"t remember if the length is different or not. I have googled and bingd and I can"t get to the information I am looking for. Any one have any ideas?

Thank you in advance.

I do not know the specs you are perhaps looking for, but you are aware that the 336 was produced with a small journal and large journal cranks. I would assume the proper rods from a 6 cly. would fit the 4 banger. Rod.

The small journal rod is 2.750 and 10.5" C/L and the big journal is 3.00 and 10" C/L.

Can you use the small rods and offset grind the large crank and gain 1/2 inch of stroke. At 336 and a 5 inch stroke you have about 67 cu in per inch. An extra 1/2 in would get you the 30 over or 366.
