I was tossing out some of my grubbiest old waste oil pales. Then I noticed the Case on a couple. These were black and filthy but I located a few I should perhaps clean-up and keep. A couple are not in very good shape anymore , but I ended up with a TCH, TFD, PTF and a couple HDM motor oils. I could not find a FDL. I like the note on the one were they say to destroy container when empty. Rod

last I checked a few months ago TCH is still available, but it is higher than Hy-Tran and in all places I have used Hy-Tran it is a better oil, I agree with what Rod was told use Hy-Tran
cnt

Rod some containers still say do not reuse. I found a Case pail laying in a farmers shed last year. I asked him if I could have it. He looked at me like I was goofy. Hoarding.....pack ratting...what ever you want to call it.

I guess I am not a smart pup like yourself being a great mech, but heat breaks the oil down over time and gets to be like varnish still works but not much of a lubricant, and if your great case orange tractor companys oil was any good they would have kept it better keep your buckets for old times.

Hy Tran is good oil, its made by Viscosity. Good and thick so all the broken gear teeth and bits of bearing in a IH can stay in suspension.
