Anyone have any information on Case's model 210B. There are a few pictures on YT site. Seems to be a rare model.

Looking for anything: specs, pictures, who has one & where, parts, salvage, etc.

I'm new to tractor ownership so any info is good info for me.

Thanks

The 210b was built in 58 and 59. It has a 126 cubic inch gas engine, and could have a straight 4spd transmission, or a dual-range, or triple-range. TYhey're good little tractors. I'm uncertain how scarce they are. I have a 310b(industrial)and 311b(ag),both 1958 models. The 310 has a 148 cubic inch motor that can replace the 126 on your tractor, if you'r ever needs a new engine. Good luck with it!

It is a pretty rare model. I think it was only built in 1958 and 1959. The tractor horsepower would be similar to the Case VAC. The engine displacement (123 cu. in.)is the same as the VAC engine, so I would think the internal engine components are likely the same. The rest of the tractor should have most components in common with the 300B Series tractors. The 300B parts book is available on-line at CaseIH.com. Let us know what parts you are looking for and perhaps we can tell you where to find them.

Here is a picture of recently restored 210 B with a model 21 loader.

Thanks for the info guys.

Scott, that is the necest 210B picture I've found. Is it a '58 or '59? Would you have any other shots of that tractor?

I bought a 1957 210B last fall and am in the middle of restoration. Just started applying the flambeau red this weekend. I've found a good source of parts to be Don Livingston (Rusty Acres) 507-433-0073. I am in south Louisiana--glad to help if I can. Hub

Hi Derrick,

Based on the serial number this is a 1959. It has power steering which might make it late 1959- not sure. Here is a rear view of the tractor. There are also three pictures without the loader in the Tractor Photo Gallery- Search 1959 and then goto the next page. I have two extra sets of decals for the sheet metal. These are vinyl cut that I had custom made based on the originals on the tractor. The decals are right-left pairs of "210", "Dual Range", and "Shuttle" only. ~20$ and a set is yours. Post your email or phone and I will contact you. Scott

Thanks Scott & Hub.

Again, those are great pictures. I'm a long way from needing decals. My digital camera is down but I'm buying a new one soon. When I have it I'll post a picture of my 210B. It isn't pretty like yours but it gets the work done around my little farm. Some day I hope to restore it but I have a lot to learn before I tackle that.

I just got a 200B series parts manual today. I ordered it from a guy in Canada. I'm going to get a service and operators manual as well, along with a good restoration book for beginners (Any suggestions?). Over the winter I hope to start cleaning my tractor up and doing some basic stuff.

I know the 21B is rare, only 364 made. I now know of at least four in at least working order. Mine in MN, Scott in IN, Hub in LA, there is one in CA (picture on YT). I wonder how many of the 364 are still going.

I saw an add for a 211B in Michigan not long ago. He wanted $1400 and it was beat but he said to runs great with lots of new mechanical work. I guess the only difference between the 210 and the 211 is the front end.

Thanks again for sharing info.

It"s great to finally get some information on this tractor. I"ve owned a 210B for about 9 years now and never knew that much about it.

We still use our as our main work horse on timber property in Fort Deposit, Alabama (about 30 miles south of Montgomery of I65.) my family owns. We use it to prepare food plots for hunting season and for bush hogging.

The tractor is in good mechanical condition, but is begining to really show its (tractor) age. Repair costs are rising and parts are harder to find. Currently, we are having problems with the hydrolic system. The systems are that it just picks up slow. We"ve had it in the shop, and our guy said he has done the best he can with repairing it. Any info replacing the hydrolic system on these tractors would be great!!

Also, we have had to purchase a remanufactured carb and now we cannot seem to get it tuned properly. I don"t have a part number for it, but will grab that when I"m down there this weekend. Any info on replacement carbs for this tractor would be greatly beneficial!!

Once again, I"m glad to know that others are out there and there seems to be enough parts to restore these machines. We have been really pleased with how this tractor has ran. Until recently, it rarely gave us any problems and our mechanic (a die-hard Farmall guy) has sworn it is one the best running tractors he has ever worked on.

Let"s keep the info rolling! Any other websites for digging up parts, specs, & history would be greatly appreciated!

BTW..If I post my serial number and some picks, would someone be able to accuretly tell me if this is a 1958 or 1959? Thanks - Jason

Jason,

Go to the YT home page. On the left side under 'Research & Info' click on 'Serial Numbers'. From there select 'Case' and 210B. It lists the starting serial number for each year.

I see an old post of yours with the Case 210B tractor. I just purchased a 1959 Case 210B that is unique. The dealer turned the seat around and put a larger bucket on the back. It actually really works well. I am painting it but won't do a full restore. I will want to get decals as well.

Nice looking 210- b Scott. I have had my 210-b-h for 10 or more years. It has pto but no Eagle Hitch. I use it for snow and tree work, I made pallet forks for handling limbs and pallets.

I have a Case 210 Shuttle exactly like the one pictured below. I just got a call from the mechanic who says it needs an oil pump, & he cannot find one. Are you interested in buying mine? I'm in North Dakota.

I also have a 200, it is a 210b-h. It probably would keep up with my Triple Range 311b on the road if it did not have the model 21 loader and a counter weight on it to hold it down. I have read that there were less than 600 units of the 210b built and I know that you could not find that many of them still able to be used. My 210 does all the work from wheelbarrow size jobs on up and the 311b does the rest of the yard and hay work.

hello i purchased my case 210b in 1976 so ive had it about 37 yrs the serial # is 6121963 ill look that # up n find out when the tractor was built does anyone know anyway ive used the tractor to do just about everything around my farm it looks terrible now n is in bad need of restoration one thing i have never understood about it is that it is supposed to be a 6 volt system but when i first replaced the battery with a 6 volt battery it wouldnt even start i tried a 12 volt battery n it started right up someone told me that someone may have converted the electrical system to a 12 volt one any ideas out there tonight was the first time i knew that only 364 of these tractors were made i just assumed that thousands were made anyone have any idea how many of these are left i called caseih today n asked them if i could purchase a starter solenoid for it n they asked me if it was a lawn mower!

Just bought one a few weeks ago at a consignment auction, Knew little about the tractor, Has Power steering, Eagle hitch, and Shuttle trans, PTO delete, with the 21 Loader. Found a PTO unit at my favorite salvage yard for $30!!!Still has 9.5-24 tires and rims from an A Farmall. Need to upgrade. Runs and drives good. Paid $925 for it, a deal, I think. Found out later it belonged to a cousin who passed away last year. A good reason to restore it.Is a 1959 210 B H model.

I have a 210B Utility that I bought about 2 months ago. It has front loader, no PTO but does have eagle hitch. It has 2 speed trans. and shuttle shift. It needs a clutch and pressure plate assy.
Do you know where I might find one? Also I'd like to know if there is a kit to add the rear PTO to this tractor.
It's in fair shape, works well, except for the clutch.
It's located in eastern SC.

Hey tim i am curious. You said the 310 engine can replace the 210 engine. So im assuming the blocks are identical? I have a 210b and i am having a really hard time finding parts to rebuild the motor. Maybe the 310 has more parts availability? Maybe you know someone that has a spare 310 i can rebuild or a good running 210?
Thanks jeff
