The colors of Case

In the parts I purchased I have noticed that there are two colors that I am not familiar with. Case had Flambeau red, and Case red, but I have a few items with another red. I believe these may be Case Osborne red, but am not sure. I also have three shades of green, Case green, wheel green, and another darker green that I know nothing about. I have many disk parts that are painted this darker color of green. Can anyone shed any light on these different red, and green colors?

My theory is, different plants, different paint suppliers, different lots of paint, and different divisions in the company led to many shades of the basic colors, I don't think they were too fussy as long as the machinery got painted.Mike

DA castings are for a Emerson grain drill

H castings are for a harrow

E castings are for the wind rowers grain and corn binders

What you do have is window of history on the actual colors of the various machines I would be trying to preserve history by each machine and at least keep a few of the appropriate colors for future reference for those trying to paint or restore machinery

Can you post casting numbers so we can identify the machines the parts belong to
