Another update to my 930 water in oil question

To all that have replied and were following my 930 rebuild question, here's an update. After dropping the pan and not finding the internal water leak,I reinstalled it and changed oil and filter. This tractor was not supposed to hold water at all. I was told it went straight to the pan. Well, I filled it with water and fired it up. Observed no bubbles in the radiator so I just let it run for an hour while watching the temp gauge. All was well, ran cool and oil looked good.
Yesterday I hooked the brush hog up to it and mowed for about 4 hours. Tractor ran great. Temp gauge stayed nice and cool. I checked the oil about every half hour and all looked good. So, I don't know what was going on. I think I'll just use it. Although, I'm still a bit confused.

Wow!

Well about the only thing i can say is enjoy!

Maybe something else happened that caused the water problem.

I know of a man that used to have gas lines plug all the time. One day he found his little girl adding dirt to the fuel tank. She said she was helping her dad. Maybe someone was helping add water to the tractor years ago.

El toro, it sat out but always had the muffler covered. Besides that it happened when my wife's aunt was bailing with it. My father in law returned home a week later and he said it wouldn't hold water. Who knows! My brother in law didn't think his dad even messed with it. Just one of those odd things I guess. As much as I've ran it, I figured I see something. Heck if I know!
