Was looking through some pictures tonight and found this one of me at the ripe old age of 11 driving the first garden tractor my Dad had at his dealership in the spring of 1965, I know I posted another one like this sometime ago, but thought you might like to see the tractor, it was brand new taken in my folk's front yard.
Oh yes, I did find this tractor and mower, and bought it, but its in storage, not running yet

Great photo. I'll bet it really brings back some memories. We all should have taken more photos like that over the years.

Thats a nice pic Dan. Hope you get the ol' 130 all pretty again soon. Don't be surprised if it feels a little smaller now than it did back in '65 ! Hee Hee

Dan,

Good to hear you have that family heirloom back in your possession. Hopefully you'll be able to get it restored soon. It appears we are the same age. Don

Thank you guys, it sure is nice when friends pop in, yes collecting parts for it,shouldnt take that long once I get everything,it isnt stuck, and actually was overhauled, but then instantly went into storage that leaked :( Was happy to get OEM hubcaps for it from Jason.

I do love these pictures to see how the landscape has changed, and the road behind me was the one I walked to school, with the neighbors daughter :) 2 blocks of heaven! HeHe Funny my Mother still own's the house, no one lives there yet,but a neice and her husband will eventually.
